The Classic Cowley Laundalette, the bygone style of the early 1930’s although rare, other Cowley models do still exist, however this car, in its 7 passenger format is a totally unique car – quite literally the only one of its kind.
The unusual face to face seating (3 forward facing and 3 rear facing seats) is reminiscent of the formal horse drawn carriages of the past and offers a huge amount of leg room for all. A further passenger space is next to the driver. The car has no boot and offers only very limited additional luggage space.
The laundalette roof over the rear seats offers a semi convertible option and makes for terrific photographs, finished in warm ivory coachwork with black detailing, the interior is upholstered in quilted cream with black trim. Its unique double door opening capability offers brides (even with the most elaborate of dresses) an elegant and easy entry & exit from the car.
It can be used both as a beautiful main bridal car and due to its extra large seating capacity, also as an impressive Mother of the Bride and Bridesmaids car. We advise you view the cars for suitability, although this car has 7 passengers seats, we advise that it would best suit 5 adults and two children, older cars often have high thresholds and are considerably slimmer than modern cars.
